Lazy-easy Cooking-hacks 1: Use less equipment possible

Use less equipment possible, so you'll have less to wash.

To eat things made with your own hands is fun.
Too bad there's always the flip side of the coin ... to clean and then to put in place the dishes and equipment you have soiled.

It is true that there is always our dear friend dishwasher. But it is also true that we must always clean things, even roughly, before putting them into the dishwasher.
And what about the delicate things that you always have to wash by hand???

The best solution is to soil as little as possible.
For this I try (when I can) to:
  • use scissors instead of knives → not to soil the cutting boards
  • measure ingredients by weight and not by volume → not to dirty cups and spoons to measure. For example, when preparing certain sweets or sauces, I place a mixture bowl on the scale, calibrate the scale (ie press the button to set the number of the display to zero) and add each ingredient directly into the bowl, and so on
  • use parchment papers not only for oven but also for pans
  • use plastic bags for food to mix, to coat or marinate the ingredients
  • serve with one-plate style
  • clean the equipment and hands with kitchen paper between a step and another, rather than wash them
So, you can reduce your concern for later and concentrate more on enjoying the food 😜
