BOILED EGG MARINATED IN TERIYAKI SAUCE
- AJI- TAMAGO -

At least 4 hours and a half
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Rest time: at least 4 hours
Ingredients
Eggs: how much you want
Teriyaki sauce: 20 ml per egg * (see how to make it → ☆)
* For example, if you want to cook 6 eggs you need 120 ml of sauce
Instead of the teriyaki sauce, you can use for each egg:
- 1 tablespoon of White wine (or Sake)
- 0.5 teaspoon of Soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of Light brown sugar
Mix everything in a saucepan and bring to boil and cool
Method
1. Make boiled eggs as you like
2. Shell the eggs
3. In a plastic bag for food, put the eggs and the teriyaki sauce
4. Close the bag so that inside there is little air as possible and keep in the fridge
5. After 4 hours the Aji-Tamago are ready
(but if you want them well-tasty wait at least 8 hours)
You can serve them as a starter, put them over rice or ramen, mix them in the salad ... etc. etc.

- Use plastic bags for food, not only to store food but also to prepare them
- Cook with large amount even when you do need a little, so you can eat it in the following days
